There is a lot of talk about finding cheap MLM leads and whether or not they convert into great downline prospects. The great thing about developing low cost leads is you can afford to develop a lot of them instead of putting all your eggs in one basket so to speak. When you pay a lot of money for a lead you better be able to convert that lead into a money making member of your organization. When you find cheap leads you go more for quantity. The key is to find a way to sort out the leads so you don't waste your time trying convert people who really are not interested in your opportunity or program.
I have found a great way to sort out cheap MLM leads is to lay out the program on autopilot. That means you do not have to present at the beginning of the lead generation process in order to determine whether or not the propect is worth pursuing. A great new way to do this is to offer your information on a blog platform such as Google's Blogger. A lot of information can be offered in a blog and once the prospect reads about the great opportunity you are offering he or she can decide if they want to put in the work. As you know, any successful business requires work and this goes the same for a MLM network marketing business. You can waste a lot of time talking to people and trying to convert them but if they aren't willing to do some work it is to no avail.
I remember several years ago I was involved in a business that was filled with people who had signed up to make lots of money but they didn't really want to learn how to grow a business. Every week there was a meeting at a local coffee shop to share ideas and training. Most of the people who showed up did so for a chance to shoot the breeze instead of to learn how to build successful MLM downlines. Needless to say the business folded within about 6 months. These people said they wanted to build a business for their retirement but in reality they didn't want to do what was necesssary.
